- 江戸城
- えどじょう【江戸城】江戸幕府の所在地で徳川氏一五代の居城。 平安末期以来の江戸氏の居館の地に, 1457年関東管領上杉氏の家臣太田道灌が築城。 のち, 上杉氏が拠(ヨ)り, さらに北条氏の支城となり, 1590年徳川家康が入城。 慶長年間(1596-1615)より寛永年間(1624-1644)に規模拡張され, 1868年開城まで徳川将軍家の居城。 1868年(明治1)皇居となる。 千代田城。
